Enrolling, attending, starting a paper, submitting it, being graded, missing a deadline, moving the clock — each is an entry whose hash includes the hash before it.

Each entry carries the hash of the one before it, so the record cannot be quietly rewritten — only added to. It never leaves your device, and it exports whole.

What gets written down

Every course is a small, inspectable history.

Course created

The material, the analysis and the plan, with the contract hash.

Term signed

Your name, your signature and the exact terms you agreed to.

Work recorded

Every chunk ticked, every check passed, every paper started, submitted and graded.

Result issued

A final percentage, a letter, a grade point, and — at seventy per cent or better — a certificate.

The record page: a transcript of courses with credits and grades, above a ledger listing each event with its time and an eight-character hash — The transcript, and the ledger it is derived from.

Useful proof has to be honest about what it is.

Lyceum is an independent study tool. It does not award accredited academic credit, and it says so on the certificate itself.

What it can prove is narrower, and true: that a specific person finished a specific course, on a schedule they could not edit, and that the record of it has not been touched since.
