The apparatus

Turn intention into a finite term.

You can want to learn forever. A course needs a beginning, a rhythm, stakes and an end.

The agreement happens before the work begins.

Nothing is hidden until you have committed. The full term — every study day, every paper, every weight — is on one page before there is anything to withdraw from.

Choosing the pace

You choose the daily effort. The material decides how long that takes.

Choose a pace

Condensed, standard or extended — two hours a day, one hour, or thirty minutes.

See the calendar

Study blocks on named days at a named hour. Quizzes from the first teaching week, problem sets fortnightly, a midterm at the halfway week if the term is long enough, a final in the last.

Sign the term

A typed name, a drawn signature, and the hash of the terms in the ledger. From that moment the registrar owns the calendar.
